Hispanic Churros or Brazilian Churros?
What's the difference between
them?
Originating in Spain, churros are a sweet treat steeped in history and tradition. Homemade with a dough made from wheat flour and water, then fried, this snack became very popular in Latin American countries and won the hearts and stomachs of Brazilians.
But what are the main differences between Spanish and Brazilian churros? Today, the Great team will tell you!
The main difference is that in Hispanic countries, they don’t have the custom of eating churros with fillings. In other words, they eat just the dough. The tradition of fillings was a Brazilian addition that was very successful. In Brazil, savory fillings also won over a small minority. But when it comes to fillings, Dulce de Leche reigns supreme. At Great, we have the best, and you can enjoy them in just a few minutes in the Air Fryer. Is there anything better than that? I don’t think so, right?
